Why eLearning Sometimes Sucks
No, we don't actually think that eLearning sucks. But, it can be really, well, bad if you don't do it right. What's wrong and what's right? In our opinion and experience, the wrong approach to this creative process is diving straight into course production, taking the words from the source materials, and turning them only into interactive words and exercises.
The right approach is analyzing all these words and giving meaning to them. Meaning for the audience that will be reading them and ultimately learning from them. This can only be achieved if you follow a detailed and systematic approach that includes the Needs Analysis, a true hero of any L&D project. Because without it, words will remain words without any true impact. In our webinar, you'll learn from our experience, good and bad, and realize why the results and courses created based on a Needs Analysis are the coolest ever!
In this session conducted by eWyse, you will learn:
- How to create good, not sucky eLearning
- How to approach eLearning development by including a crucial step to all projects—the Needs Analysis
- We'll show examples of good and bad practices when conducting the Needs Analysis
- We'll also discuss another important training development step—training evaluation
- We'll touch upon an important factor that contributes to successful projects—the compatibility of company cultures
